Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 1, 2026
Who we are and what this covers
Syncature LLC ("Syncature," "we," "us") makes marketing software, starting with the Syncature Attribution Audit. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers syncature.ai and every Syncature tool, app and connection (the "Service").
Information we collect
| What | Examples | Where it comes from |
|---|---|---|
| Account information | Name, email address, company, profile photo | You, or Google when you sign in with Google |
| Connected account data | Ad account, campaign and conversion settings; analytics property settings and summary traffic figures; CRM form fields, contact source summaries and deal totals | Google Ads, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, HubSpot and Meta, only for accounts you choose to connect |
| Website scan data | Which tracking tags, cookie banners and form fields appear on pages you ask us to scan | Public pages of the website you enter |
| Audit results | Scores, findings, evidence, your notes and status changes | Created by the Service from the data above and your edits |
| Usage and logs | Pages viewed, features used, tool calls made by connected AI assistants, IP address, browser type, error logs | Collected automatically when you use the Service |
| Cookies on syncature.ai | Session and preference cookies; analytics and marketing cookies if you allow them | Set by our website; see the cookie banner for choices |
We connect to your accounts with read-only access. We do not collect passwords for connected services; you sign in to each one directly and grant access through that service's own screen.
We do not intentionally collect personal information about your customers. Where connected data contains it (for example, a CRM contact record), we use only what a check needs, such as whether a source field is filled in, and we store counts and percentages rather than the records themselves.
How we use information
We use information to:
- Run audits, score your setup and show you what to fix
- Save your results so you can track progress and share them
- Let AI assistants you connect read and update your findings (see below)
- Keep the Service secure, fix problems and improve our checks
- Send service emails, such as a finished audit or an account notice
- Send product news, only if you opt in; every email has an unsubscribe link
What we never do:
- Sell your personal information or connected account data
- Use connected account data for advertising, or to build profiles for anyone else
- Use your connected account data to train AI models, ours or anyone else's
- Change anything in your connected ad, analytics or CRM accounts; our access is read-only
Google, Meta and HubSpot data
Syncature's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
In plain terms, for data from Google Ads, Google Analytics and Google Search Console, we:
- Use it only to provide and improve the audit features you see in the Service
- Do not transfer it to others except to provide those features, to comply with law, or as part of a merger or sale with the same protections
- Do not use it for advertising
- Do not let people read it, except with your permission, for security, to comply with law, or when it has been aggregated and anonymized for internal operations
Data from Meta and HubSpot is handled under the same rules and under each platform's developer terms. You can remove our access at any time from within Google, Meta or HubSpot, or by disconnecting the account in Syncature.
AI features and your own AI assistant
Our AI features. We use Google's Gemini models, through Google Cloud, to write plain-English explanations of your findings. We send only what that explanation needs, and under our Google Cloud terms Google does not use that data to train its models.
Your own AI assistant. You can connect an AI assistant you use, such as Claude, to your Syncature account through our connection server (MCP). Once connected, that assistant can read your audit results and update the status and notes on your findings. You choose whether to connect one, you can disconnect it at any time, and we log every action it takes. What the assistant does with information after it receives it is governed by that assistant provider's own terms and privacy policy, not ours.
Who we share information with
We share information only with service providers that help us run the Service, under contracts that limit their use to that purpose:
| Provider type | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Google Cloud | Hosting, databases, storage, and AI explanations (Gemini) |
| Any other AI model provider we add (listed here before use) | Writing plain-English explanations of findings |
| HubSpot | Our website, sign-up forms and customer emails |
We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect the rights and safety of our users or others, or as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, in which case this policy continues to apply. We share results with other people only when you do, for example by sending a share link.
Keeping and deleting information
- Account and audit results: kept while your account is open, so you can track progress over time.
- Disconnecting a service: we delete its access tokens right away and stop collecting from it. Past audit results stay unless you delete them.
- Deleting your account: email jim@syncature.com or use the delete option in settings. We delete your data within 30 days, except backups, which roll off within a further 30 days, and records we must keep by law.
- Logs: kept for up to 90 days for security and troubleshooting.
Security
We encrypt data in transit and at rest, keep access tokens in a secrets manager, keep each customer's data separate, and limit staff access to what's needed to run and support the Service. No system is perfectly secure; if we learn of a breach that affects your information, we will notify you as the law requires.
Your rights and choices
- Access, correction, deletion, copy: ask at jim@syncature.com and we will respond within 30 days. Depending on where you live (for example California or the EU), you may have further rights, and we honor them.
- Marketing email: unsubscribe from any email.
- Cookies: choose in the cookie banner on syncature.ai.
- Connected accounts: disconnect any of them at any time.
Children
The Service is for businesses and is not intended for anyone under 18.
International users
We are based in the United States and store data there. If you use the Service from elsewhere, your information is transferred to and processed in the United States.
Changes to this policy
We will post changes here and update the effective date. For significant changes, we will also email account holders before they take effect.
